Extra Credit Equation or Inequality Sandwich
Pick a multi-step equation or inequality to make a sandwich out of. You can make a sandwich by writing the question on the top bread and will use the meats, cheese, veggies, or fruit layers of your sandwich to be each step. Each step deserves its own layer on the sandwich and all steps should be carefully shown. The bottom layer of bread should have the correct answer. There will be up to 50 points of extra credit award based on the following:
- Creativity: 5 points
- Question: 5 points
- Distributing: 5 points
- Combining Like Terms: 5 points
- Variable on both sides of the equation or inequality: 5 points
- Using the Addition or Subtraction Property or Equation or Inequality: 5 points
- Using the Multiplication or Division Property of Equation or Inequality: 5points
- Multiplying or dividing both sides of the equation by a negative sign and remembering to flip the inequality sign: 5 points
- Including Fractions or decimals in your equations or inequalities: 5 points
- Solving for the correct answer: 5 points
