About Suzanne Debate
Once again, a group of amazing WHS students will be running our Debate program here at Suzanne. We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated and enthusiastic group of students who are willing to come over and teach our students the fundamentals of debate.
By participating in this program, students at Suzanne Middle School learn to speak confidently in public, construct effective arguments, engage in critical thinking and discuss current events. What they learn during weekly practices and monthly tournaments will help them develop a solid foundation in public speaking that translates into success both in the classroom and later on in high school.
The mentors meet with students every Wednesday from 4-5PM on Google Meet using the link provided in the Debate Google Classroom. Students can join the google classroom with the code smk5biq.
